With Danny gone I am advised that I should not do any more work until his contract is formally terminated, otherwise he could charge me for finishing the work even if someone else had done it. However he has dug down beside the retaining wall exposing the foundations and I worry that if left with the foundations undermined the wall might collapse so I do some work myself.
